Kevin Laws (Director)

Kevin has been a physiotherapist since 1995. He initially worked in the Australian Army where he became the Defence Force's highest ranking and most decorated physiotherapist. The highlight of his career was as the chief physiotherapist in East Timor with INTERFET in 1999-2000. Kevin joined Flex Out Physiotherapy in 2001 and became the principal in 2002. He has worked with many Australian teams including Athletics Australia, Volleyball Australia, Rowing Australia and Triathlon Australia. Kevin has a special interest in sports physiotherapy and lower limb injuries.

Kylie McInnes (Director)

Kylie has been a member of Flex Out Physiotherapy since graduating from CSU in 2007. Kylie has a special interest in the treatment of lumbo-pelvic pain and thoracic ring alignment. She has completed Treatment of the Spine and Pelvis Level 1, the Integrated Pelvis Level 2, Certificate of Treatment of the Cervical Spine and Thoracic Cage, all of which use the muscle energy techniques, as well as LJ Lee’s the Sports Pelvis and the Sports Thorax certificates. Prior to physiotherapy, Kylie worked in the fitness industry as both a personal trainer and group fitness instructor which complements her interest groups. Kylie works at both the Albury and Lavington Clinics. Outside of work Kylie enjoys running and horse riding.

Liam has been a member of Flex Out Physiotherapy since graduating from CSU in 2007. Liam is a keen sportsperson - playing provincial A grade cricket in the Cricket Albury Wodonga competition. Liam also has an interest in mountain bike riding, watersports and snowsports. Liam has a special interest in the treatment of shoulder injuries, and currently provides onsite physiotherapy for Uncle Toby's (Wahgunyah).

Rebecca has been a member of Flex Out Physiotherapy since graduating from CSU in 2007. Rebecca is a keen sportsperson - she plays in the A-Grade Ovens and Murray Netball competition and is a keen basketballer and snow skier. Rebecca shares her time between both the Albury and Myrtleford clinics, and has a keen interest in the management of musculoskeletal and sporting injuries. Rebecca has completed the APA's level 2 sports course, and is Clinical Pilates and McKenzie trained. She recently finished her graduate certificate in Sports Physiotherapy through Latrobe University, and is in the process of completing her Masters.

Richard Spry

Richard joined Flex Out Physiotherapy in 2002. Prior to this, Richard worked in rehabilitation as the chief physiotherapist at Adamshurst Rehabilitation Centre. Richard has extensive experience in private practice, hospital and rehabilitation settings. In addition to this, Richard is a qualified Feldenkrais physiotherapist, and Kinesio-taping certified. Richard is a keen cyclist and runner.

Sarah Lamb

Sarah graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2006. She has since worked in both public and private health care locally and in Hobart. During this time she has developed a special interest in the treatment of the thorax, lumbar spine and pelvis. Sarah has completed various courses in this field including Muscle Energy Techniques (Advanced Manual Therapy Associates Level 1 and 2 courses) and LJ Lee’s Sports Thorax and Pelvis courses. Sarah is also trained in Clinical Pilates, completing Level 1 and 2 courses through DMA. Sarah also has an interest in neurogeriatric rehabilitation, orthopaedic rehabilitation and hydrotherapy.

Imogen Batten

Imogen joined Flex Out Physiotherapy in December 2011. She specialises in the areas of Women’s Health and Pilates. Imogen is also accredited in dry needling. Imogen has travelled internationally as an Australian Physiotherapist for Basketball, Athletics and several other sports throughout her career. Prior to moving back to Albury, Imogen has worked in private practice and hospitals, on maternity wards, in outpatients and in women’s health Physiotherapy roles. Since starting at Flex Out, Imogen has enjoyed developing the women’s health area, starting mums ‘n’ bubs and pregnancy Pilates.

Susan Stokes

Susan recently commenced with Flex Out Physiotherapy after moving with her family from Sydney. Since graduating from Sydney University in 2003, Susan has worked with the Australian Defence Force and in private practice. Susan has a keen interest in musculoskeletal injuries having completed her Masters of Manual Therapy in 2006. Susan is accredited in dry needling and skilled in casting and splinting. Susan has treated many high level athletes and is a keen sportsperson herself enjoying waterskiing and touch football.











Lauren Beer

Lauren graduated from CSU in 2007. She joined Flex Out Physiotherapy in 2013 and provides inpatient physiotherapy at Murray Valley Private Hospital. Prior to this, Lauren worked in inpatient and community rehabilitation both locally and in Melbourne. Lauren has a keen interest in neurological rehabilitation, particularly stroke rehabilitation.
Melissa Haberfield

Melissa graduated from CSU in 2008. She commenced her career as a rotational physiotherapist at Albury-Wodonga Health, before working in Canada for 3 years. While in Canada, Melissa gained valuable experience in all facets of physiotherapy including ICU/acute care, orthopaedics, in- and out-patient rehabilitation, musculoskeletal, pulmonary and cardiac rehabilitation and hydrotherapy. Melissa is Bobath trained which provides her with a unique skill set to assess and treat adults with neurological conditions such as stroke, Parkinsons Disease, spinal cord injury and brain injury. She also has a passion for orthopaedics and sports physiotherapy, having completed the APA’s level 1 sports course, Kenesio taping and health coaching courses.
Carina Tenace

Carina graduated locally at Charles Sturt University and spent some time working for the Victorian PaediatricRehabilitation Service at Goulburn Valley Health in Shepparton in the areas of Womens Health and paediatrics. Since joining Flex Out Physiotherapy in 2015, Carina has established herself as a well respected paediatric physiotherapist. She is committed to prividing quality pysiotherapy care for children from birth to 18-years. This includes growith related pains, as well as developmental delays, hip dysplasia, cerebral palsy and aquired brain injuries. Carina provides services in Albury, Lavington and Myrtleford.
Daniel Searle

Daniel lost the majority of his vision aged 16 due to a rare genetic condition. This hasn’t stopped Daniel achieving a number of his goals, having completed his physiotherapy studies in 2014 at CSU. Daniel is also a keen stoprtsman and has represented Australia in Blind Cricketand achieved a silver medal at the Oceania champions for triathlon in 2014.
He is passionate and sport and disability advocacy. Daniel is keen to pursue further study in manaual therapies, sports injuries and disabilities.
Hannah Gaylor

Hannah joined Flex Out Physiotherapy after completing her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at CSU in 2014. Whilst attending University she completed taping and sports trainer courses. Hannah has particular interests in sports, clinical pilates and spinal rehabilitation, and plans to complete further training in these areas. Away from work Hannah enjoys netball, snow skiing and running.
Ryan Sewell

Ryan has been a member of the Flex Out team since completing his Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at CSU in 2014. Ryan has a special interest in sports physiotherapy, spinal and lower limb rehabilitation. Whilst studying, Ryan completed multiple taping courses and served as a sports trainer for the Murray Bushrangers football club. Ryan’s other interests include football, basketball and snow sports.
Kara Brockwell

Kara has taken on various roles both in the public and private sector in Australia and oversea since graduating from CSU in 2004. Most recently Kara has worked in the private sector as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist and has a special interest in the spine, pelvis, shoulders, neck, osteoporosis, eating disorders and holistic health. Currently She is doing her diploma in clinical rehabilitation Pilates through Polestar Pilates and is a mentor on their courses throughout Australia. She is also a Nordic Walking Instructor and accredited in trigger point dry needling.
Kellie Van Der Graaff

Kellie is the newest member of the Flex Out team joining in 2015. Kellie has come from a fitness background, prior to completing her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2014 she worked as a personal trainer and fitness instructor. Kellie has completed multiple taping courses as well as completing a certificate in Clinical Matwork Pilates. Outside of work Kellie enjoys open water swimming, cooking and spending time in the gym.

Jennie graduated in 1986 and enjoyed a broad range of physiotherapy experiences in the public health system in Sydney, Albury and Hobart. She joined Flex Out Physiotherapy in 2003 following a successful time as the principal of her own private practice. Jennie is a Certified Hand Physiotherapist (CHT). She is the only one in the region and has extensive experience dealing with chronic and acute upper limb injuries. Jennie also is a qualified lymphoedema therapist and is currently listed on the National Lymphoedema Practitioners Register. Jennie is very involved in the equestrian world.
Libby Gilson

Libby has worked as an in Bendigo, Melbourne and Wagga Wagga since graduating from CSU in 2003. For the past 9 years Libby has specialised in the area of hand therapy. Libby has a wealth of knowledge and experience assessing and treating disorders of the upper limb, and has a special interest in wrist pain, wrist/ hand arthritis and complex traumatic injuries. Interests outside of work include good food and wine and spending time with family and friends!
Eli Beach
B Exercise Physiology
Eli joined the Flex Out team after working in a remote Aboriginal community at the Walgett Aboriginal Medical Service. His areas of special interest include injury reduction and management through individualised, goal centred programming and how exercise positively affects neuroplasticity and mental health. Eli works from our Albury clinic and is also involved at the Murray Valley Private Hospital Day Program.
